Important Packing Information

Please come to the trailhead with all of the following items. These items should be ready to be packed into a backpack immediately upon your arrival. If you have questions about any of the gear you intend to bring, please let us know.

Less is More

  • Remember… any unnecessary items you pack will be adding extra weight to your pack, and thus creating a heavier load and more strain on your body on the trail
    • Strive to pack multi-use, compact, lightweight items
    • Any items deemed excessive for the trip may be declined and left behind at the trailhead at the discretion of the tour guide

What to Pack

Keeping in mind that most of the gear required for this trip will already be provided for you (e.g. food, packs, packrafts, paddles, life jackets, water filtration, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, camping pillows, etc.), please bring the following items:

What to Wear on the Day of the Tour

On the day of the tour, please arrive at the trailhead outfitted in the following gear from the above packing list. The rest of your gear will be loaded into your pack.
