Based in Seattle, we offer one-of-a-kind adventure tours, packraft rentals, and expert-led instruction designed to help our customers live their most adventurous lives. Since 2022, we’ve helped pioneer alpine lake packrafting tours in the United States and have become a leading voice for the sport in Washington. Our team is made up of genuine outdoor enthusiasts who are committed to safety, exceptional customer service, and creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.

Adam Jones

Owner | Lead Guide, Instructor

As the founder of Optimum Adventures, Adam loves nothing more than living a life full of adventure and helping others do the same.

He has guided hundreds of tours and thousands of river miles while sharing his love for the outdoors. He is one of the few ACA Level 4 Packraft Instructors in the country, holds numerous additional outdoor professional certifications, and has helped pioneer the concept of alpine lake packrafting. He is a passionate outdoorsman whose top hobbies include packrafting, backpacking, and bikepacking.

Whether through our tours, rentals, instruction, or informative resources, Adam strives to go above and beyond for every customer. He has over 200 lifetime 5-star reviews, and places a strong emphasis on exceptional customer service as well as getting to know each of his clients. A passionate storyteller and naturalist, Adam loves helping others safely recreate outside, manage risk responsibly, and experience the sense of adventure and great Pacific Northwest which he loves so much.

Packrafting Guide

Isaac hails from the Seattle area and is an incredibly passionate, personable, and knowledgeable outdoorsman.

Coming to us from the world of mountaineering, Isaac holds numerous outdoor certifications and accomplishments, including a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification and completion of both Part I and Part II of the American Alpine Institute’s Alpine Mountaineering and Technical Leadership courses. He is an active alpine climber and has summited nearly every major volcano in the Cascade Range.

On our tours, Isaac is known for his natural ability to connect with people, exceptional customer service, and calm, confidence-inspiring guiding. He is deeply knowledgeable about the local geology, wildlife, and flora of the Pacific Northwest—a true student of the outdoors.

When he’s not leading alpine lake packrafting tours, you’ll likely find Isaac mountaineering, climbing, or trail running in the mountains. Isaac is also fluent in Spanish, a skilled guitarist, and an accomplished runner, so don’t challenge him to a race unless you’re prepared to be humbled!

With roots in the Sacramento and Bellingham areas, Ceasar is a passionate outdoorsman with a deep appreciation for adventure, conservation, and connecting people with meaningful experiences in the natural world.

With extensive experience in the outdoor industry spanning both retail and guiding roles, Ceasar brings professionalism, knowledge, and a genuine enthusiasm to Optimum Adventures. He is actively involved in the local cycling and climbing communities and enjoys alpine climbing, fly fishing, paddling, mountain biking, and backcountry skiing. A passionate conservationist with a background in environmental policy, Ceasar is also one of the most observant people you’ll ever meet on the trail.

As genuine as they come, Ceasar loves helping others discover the outdoors and is thrilled to connect people with unique, high-quality experiences in Washington’s incredible alpine landscapes.
